What to Expect When Working with Me
Initial Connection and Consultation
Whether we meet online or in person, I’m here to make sure we connect in a way that feels right for you. I’m genuinely interested in understanding your vision, so I offer consultations to get to know each other and discuss ideas for our session. I also live stream my editing process regularly, and you're welcome to drop in if you’d like a behind-the-scenes look or want to connect in a relaxed, informal way.
Creating a Comfortable Atmosphere
During the session, my goal is to create a calm and welcoming environment. I understand that being in front of the camera can feel daunting, so I take my time and am more than happy to share my process with you. If there’s any anxiety, we can talk through it and let things unfold naturally. Sometimes, we might use playful prompts or just chat—whatever helps you feel at ease. I like to enter each space calm and centered, and I hope that energy helps create a space where you can be yourself.
Balancing Documentary Style with Your Preferences
My approach is rooted in capturing authentic, candid moments, but I’m always open to client requests, whether it’s specific shots or traditional poses. If there are certain photos you’re after, letting me know ahead of time can help us work them in seamlessly. I’ll use light direction when needed, but overall, I like to let the session flow and adapt to the moment as we go.
Post-Session Process and Collaboration
Once our session wraps up, I’ll provide access to a proofing gallery where you can review the raw photos and make your selections. You’re welcome to add comments to any photos if you have specific feedback. Additionally, I offer editing sessions where we can video call, and I’ll screen-share as I work on your images. This way, you can offer your input on the style and direction, making sure the final results are just what you envisioned.
